The clean environment and clear waters are home to all sorts of interesting wildlife with plenty of activity.

Oystercatchers are seen swooping low to the water and exploring the rock pools for food, seals bask in the sun on the rocks several hundred metres from the beach between you and Gigha, known as 'God's Island' for its unique beauty.

Also heron sometimes stand in wait patiently for its next meal, rabbits during the early evening emerge from their burrows as the sun sets over the islands, and a whole host of other wildlife and activity will maintain your interest in years to come perfect for artists and photographers.

There is also plenty of coastline and walks to explore from within minutes of this stunning location including a superb section of soft blond sandy beach.
